Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

I did take most of the winter off and I have moved my family out to the Mat-Su Valley. I have some projects lined up and I have been keeping busy. I am upgrading some equipment and getting ready for the summer season! Also, I will continue my photography in both the Anchorage and Mat-Su areas. Stay tuned.

Alaska Air National Guard Retirement

I had the honor of being asked to photograph the retirement of a great guy. Here is a photo of Governor Sean Parnell presenting a medal. This venue was insanely dark but, luckily, I was allowed to bring my flashes.

Here is my first ever attempt at photographing the northern lights. Not too bad except that I left a UV filter on my lens…notice the cool circles in the middle of the image? Oh well, it was fun. Hope you like it.
